I want to know more about M1 Yarns!

Great! I am most active on Instagram. Please follow me @m1yarns. I am also on Facebook as M1 Yarns, and YouTube where I host the podcast, "M1 Yarns and the Michigan Makers".

Shipping

Orders are processed within 48 hours unless the shop is on vacation or dealing with an emergency - which generally I try to post about on Instagram or in the shop, as feasible. Orders are packed with great care and shipped via shipping method selected at the time of checkout.

Do you accept returns?

I want you to be satisfied with your order.  If a mistake was made by M1 Yarns, such as a missing or incorrect item in your order, the customer must contact M1 Yarns within 14 days of receiving the package.  I will cover the cost of sending the missing item or supply a return shipping label for incorrect item and shipment of the correct one.  Return or exchanges are not generally permitted; however extenuating circumstance inquiries are handled on a case by case basis and  MUST be made 14 days or less from the date you received your product, which must be in the original and unused condition.  Any discounted yarn or accessory items is final sale and cannot be returned.

If you have an issue with your order, please email me directly at m1yarnsinfo@gmail.com.

General Information

Yarn is hand-dyed by me in my home studio.  Our home is a non-smoking home where we live with our two dogs. I do my best to keep my pets out of the way of my fiber. However, if you are highly sensitive to dogs, please let me know.  I use professional acid dyes and carefully chosen quality bases.

Hand-dyed yarns are, by design, unique -- meaning no two skeins are exactly alike.  I try to ensure consistency as much as possible, but the colors and shading will vary from skein to skein.  This adds to the beauty of these handmade items.  As is the industry standard, I recommend alternating skeins as you stitch to prevent pooling or other variances for best results.

We recommend washing items made from our yarn by hand.  Squeeze out water and air dry flat.
