Melissa Warford

Melissa started knitting around 2002 as a self-preservation mechanism while spending weekends on the bleachers at her kid's sporting events. She taught herself from a book about teaching kids how to knit, and her love of fiber arts was born. She's spent time teaching fiber arts to k-12 kids as well as working and teaching in several yarn shops. She has a passion for kids and has spent 8 years as a scout leader, as well as being a youth mentor and reading teacher.

Christy has been knitting (obsessively) for the last five years. She's knit everything from socks to a dress! She has experience with cables and socks and has a particular love for colorwork. She's beginning to do some design work and has two patterns in a book to be released this fall!
